How to prepare and score good marks in Geography Paper ?
Geography is defined as a discipline of the spatial and temporal synthesis. Its approach is holistic in nature. it makes the students understand that the world is based on interdependence- a global village.
Specialists are of the view that Geography is different from other subjects because of its methodology.
Geographers are usually scholarly person whose area of study includes geography, the study of Earth’s natural environment as well as human society. They study the changes and association of the features on the earth surface that is, the Cropping pattern which differs from place to place because of variations in transport facility, climate, demand, soil, farmers’ capacity. The interaction between man and nature is extremely dynamic; so it is also called as the study of the relation between unstable earth and entrusting man.
The Class 11 CBSE Geography has 3 Parts-
PART A, PART B and PART C.
PART A deals with the- Fundamentals of Physical Geography.
PART B deals with- India – Physical Environment.
PART C deals with- Practical Work.
Many students say that scoring well in geography isn’t that easy. But the initiative taken by CBSE Board through the introduction of CBSE Study material and CBSE Online test series, students can score their desired marks.

• Climatology elaborates the study of the structure of atmosphere, elements of weather and climates and climatic types and regions. See which are the questions in common, which can be easily solved by you and then move to the Online test series Class 11.
• Hydrology studies the level of water over the surface of the earth like the oceans, lakes, rivers and other water bodies and the effect it has on human life and their activities. For those students finding it hard to study hydrology chapters, just go through the CBSE Class 11th Sample Paper or the Online test series class 11. And then memorize questions on this topic, you will find it helpful.
• Soil Geography studies the processes of soil formation, soil types, their fertility status, distribution and use.
